This is from  a holiday gift guide with an interesting book for dog lovers who enjoy the outdoors with their dogs. Here’s the write up in a gift guide:  For 11 years, Greeley resident Josh Aho climbed Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks with a noble climbing companion, his golden retriever, Sawyer.  Together beginning in 2001, they traveled the state climbing the fourteeners, and soon, the pair became pseudo celebrities within the fourteeners community.  Sawyer has since passed away due to old age, but the team climbed nearly all of Colorado’s 54 fourteeners.  Aho has chronicled that journey is his self-published book,  “Climbing Colorado’s 14ers with Sawyer,” which features 350 full-color pages and more than 600 photographs. The book is also a guide to the peaks, providing difficulty ratings for dogs, along with a history of  fourteener canines, climbing tips and route descriptions.  See the entire article HEREBy clicking the link.
